1. Grammarly App - install this AI-supported grammar checking software on your phone (Android or iOS device) and your computer 

2. BBC Learning English App - learn English every day with this app - short lessons that are easy to digest, understand and use 

3. Research top content writers like Neil Patel, Brian Dean, Susan Green, Jeff Bullas, Jon Morrow, Chima Mmeje, ….if you're looking to become a paid content writer on or off Fiverr 

4. Buy The Brighter Grammar Books 1-4 to improve your knowledge of the basics of English - parts of speech and all 

5. Google any topic you want to learn about and read what people have written about it. 

6. Visit these websites - health.com, webmd.com, goodhousekeeping.com,

7. Write Your morning pages - 3 pages of anything on your mind as soon as you wake up in the morning. Set aside 30 minutes for this every day.

8. Read some good books on any topic that you find interesting. For marketing, read Sabri Suby's Sell Like Crazy or Akin Alabi's How to Sell to Nigerians. If you prefer fiction books, I recommend Francine Rivers. She's a Christian Author that always beautifully weaves the message of salvation into all her stories. 

9. Always read news articles on your phone - Google always provides article suggestions based on your internet history or activities. Focus

10. Pay attention to content or copies by top marketing brands. For example, if you want to learn how to describe your products, go on Amazon - read product descriptions and customer reviews. If you want to be good at writing a sales pitch or sales page, read the sales pages of people that you have bought things from online. There's a master formula almost everybody follows.

11. Write in your journal every day 

12. Write reviews for the apps you use, the places you visit or the products you buy online 

13. Never underestimate the power of STORYTELLING. It always works.

14. Chat to people in full correct English - no short forms or abbreviations. Avoid things like 'def' for definitely, 'aiit' for alright, dat for that, dis for this, Dem for them, gm for good morning, am for I'm. In short, Google a list of words wrongly spelt or wrongly written. 

15. Join the Email List of anybody that is better than you in writing. If you're on Instagram, these are some suggestions - Ife Durosimi-Etti, Chioma Business School, Ife Agoro, Oyekunle Damola, Nelly Agbogu, Triciabiz, Stephanie Obi. 16. Read the daily devotionals by United Christian Broadcasters - you'll learn a lot from the writing style and from the messages shared 

17. Join spaces like Facebook Groups or Forums like Quora - you'll find me there as Adenike Babalola. I always get posts about the things that interest me.

18. Read emails from your bank - First Bank, GTBank, 

19. Read ads of anything that you see online - even if you don't plan to buy. These sales copies always follow a particular script/system/style of writing. 20. Use a Readability tool like YOAST SEO READABILITY SOFTWARE to find out how easy to understand your writing is.
